Black Racer
This benevolent, exceptionally fast, beautiful snake is one of the best critters to have in your yard. Their diet consists of what we call vermin and the only way to get one to bite you is to be faster than they are (highly doubtful) in order to catch one, beat it stoutly about the head and shoulders for a week with your hands smelling of food. And even then; once the snake bites you it will immediately let go because you don't taste good!
